The HCBL maximum pitch count is 110 pitches. If a pitcher reaches the 110-pitch limit during a plate appearance, the pitcher may remain in the game only to complete that batter. Once the plate appearance ends, the pitcher must be removed and may not begin another batter.
The pitcher’s actual total number of pitches thrown, including all pitches required to complete the final batter, will be used to determine the applicable rest period.
Pitchers shall not pitch in multiple games on the same day
No pitcher shall appear in a game as a pitcher for three consecutive days, regardless of pitch counts.
Take at least three months off from competitive pitching every year, including at least four continuous weeks off from all overhead throwing.
Make sure to warm up properly before pitching.
Set and follow pitch-count limits and required rest periods.
Avoid playing for multiple teams at the same time.
Avoid playing catcher while not pitching.
Make sure to follow guidelines across leagues, tournaments, and showcases
