Pass the Hat Script
To be announced twice during a single game and once during each game of a doubleheader, having two players with the mascot would be ideal. At some point, mention the player’s names.
Fans, we thank you for supporting Hamptons collegiate baseball and hope you enjoy the free, fun family entertainment that the team and league provide.
Hamptons Collegiate Baseball is a non-profit organization that provides free youth clinics in each team’s respective towns and communities.
At this time, we are passing the hat, asking you for your help with costs associated with the league, including meals for the players, clinics, and improving local community ballfields.
We appreciate whatever you can give and remember that even a small amount can go a long way. Once again, thank you for your support of Hamptons collegiate baseball.
Post Game Wrap Up
- Announce final score: runs, hits and errors for each team and the winning and losing pitchers and also if there was a save.
- If there are any final scores coming in announce them as well.
- Give a final reminder for when the next home game is and any team promotional events.
- Thank everyone for attending the game and wish them a safe trip home.
- Send in stats then clean up scorers table and speakers.
